The Glass Family has been in the well drilling business for over 100 years.  Starting in the early 1900s, using horse driven rigs, Frank Glass (1902) began drilling water wells for the Central Texas area.

Central Texas Drilling has been a successful part of the Central Texas Business Community since 1940.  In 1970, Frank Glass purchased CTD and has continued the company’s history of quality work.   Frank has been involved with the drilling business since he was a young boy, when he began working with his father and grandfather.  Frank’s son, Aaron, has also been involved with the drilling and pump business since he was a young boy.  Being fourth and fifth generation well drillers, they both have extensive knowledge of drilling formation and technique, which has helped make Central Texas Drilling the reputable company it is today.  In 1991, Aaron took over the pump division of Central Texas Drilling and started his own company, Centex Pump and Supply, Inc.  These companies now work closely together to capably meet all of our customers’ water needs.
